Zakharova: We hope that Baku will refrain from damaging Russian-Azerbaijani relations

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova addressed the closure of the Russian House and Sputnik Azerbaijan during a press briefing.

“We are in contact with the Azerbaijani side and have informed our Azerbaijani partners about our position regarding this important issue. We expect a constructive response. We hope that through joint efforts, we will reach a mutually acceptable solution. We proceed from the assumption that our partners will be guided by the allied nature of Russian-Azerbaijani relations in their future steps and will refrain from harming bilateral relations,” Zakharova stated.
