We continue to adhere to a peace agenda that can solve the issue of prisoner return: Statements from Pashinyan during Q&A session

Below are the most notable statements made by Nikol Pashinyan during the Q&A session in the National Assembly:

1. Besides statements, we continue to adhere to a peace agenda because we believe that this is the action and the atmosphere of peace that can address the issue of prisoner returns, among other things. I am the prime minister of the Republic of Armenia, and it is my working duty as prime minister to focus not only on the interests of one person but also on the state interests of the Republic of Armenia and the interests of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. Yes, this includes a balanced and reasonable approach, including on the resolution of the problems of individuals.

2. Efforts toward signing a peace treaty are one of the actions that, beyond statements, can and will likely contribute to resolving the [prisoner] issue.

3. In the context of the trials taking place in Baku, prohibited means and torture are being used. Our diplomacy is guided by the principle of not causing harm.

4. We have already received applications from several hundred citizens to participate in discussions about real Armenia. My plan is that next Wednesday, when we are free from the Q&A session with the Government in the National Assembly, we will hold discussions; and regional visits will take place on non-working days. At this moment, meetings are scheduled for Wednesdays, and the schedule for regional meetings is also being arranged.
