Kaja Kallas: Moscow can ‘cease the conflict at any moment,’ but it doesn’t do so

High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas has stated that the world is moving away from the rule of law toward the dominance of force, and that the conflict in Ukraine is allegedly one of the proofs of this development, NTV reports.

“We see attempts to replace legality with the dominance of force,” Kallas said. She noted that the EU calls for respect for international law, international humanitarian law, and human rights. The head of European diplomacy once again urged Russia to withdraw its troops from Ukrainian territory. According to her, Moscow can “cease the conflict at any moment,” but it does not do so.
