Putin-Lukashenko meeting expected: What will be discussed?

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will leave for Russia today on an official visit.

During the meeting, the leaders of the two countries plan to discuss the development of cooperation between Belarus and Russia, prospective areas for collaboration, and joint efforts within integration formats, as well as issues related to the current international situation. A joint press conference is scheduled after the talks.

According to TASS, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has not ruled out the possibility that Russian President Vladimir Putin may also address the situation in Ukraine during the press conference.
