Polish president calls on Washington to deploy American nuclear weapons in Poland
Polish President Andrzej Duda has urged Washington to relocate nuclear weapons from the U.S. or Western Europe to Polish territory. Duda discussed the issue with U.S. Presidential Advisor on Ukraine Keith Kellogg, the Financial Times writes.
“In 1999, NATO’s borders moved eastward. So, 26 years later, NATO’s infrastructure should also move eastward,” Duda stated.
He noted that it would take decades to establish Poland’s own nuclear forces.
