
US-Ukraine negotiations conclude with agreements reached
Negotiations between the U.S. and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia have concluded, with discussions set to continue on Wednesday, the Financial Times reports. As reported, the parties will issue a joint statement summarizing the outcomes of the talks. The White House has announced that the United States will soon present the results of its meeting with the Ukrainian delegation.
“Secretary of State Rubio and our National Security Advisor Mike Waltz held talks today with Ukrainian and Saudi representatives. A full report on this meeting will be provided soon,” the White House stated, emphasizing that the discussions were highly productive and that U.S. President Donald Trump has received positive updates regarding the outcomes.
As a result of negotiations with the U.S. in Saudi Arabia, Ukraine has accepted U.S. proposal for a 30-day ceasefire, according to a statement released by the Office of the President of Ukraine. The statement notes that the ceasefire could be extended if Russia agrees to the proposal. Additionally, the U.S. will immediately resume intelligence-sharing with Ukraine.
