Rutte confirms Ukraine’s NATO membership no longer under discussion

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has confirmed that Ukraine’s accession to the alliance is no longer on the agenda.

Rutte made this statement in an interview with Bloomberg. When asked whether U.S. President Donald Trump is in fact removing Ukraine’s NATO membership from consideration, Rutte responded, “Yes.”
