Yemen ready to negotiate with US

The Houthi movement, known as Ansar Allah in Yemen, is prepared to engage in negotiations with the U.S. administration to achieve peace, provided that Washington demonstrates genuine willingness to do so, an anonymous spokesperson for the movement told Qatar’s Al Araby TV network, TASS writes.

“The U.S. aggression is an unjustified attack and a violation of our sovereignty,” a senior official of the movement said. “Negotiations can take place; we have always supported dialogue,” he added, noting that the movement is ready for peace if there is a “serious attempt” at resolution.
