Putin-Trump phone call longest in US-Russia presidential history

The phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump has set a new record as the longest phone call between the leaders of Russia and the U.S., Komsomolskaya Pravda reports.

The previous record of 1.5 hours was set on Feb. 12, 2025. For comparison, Putin’s longest call with Joe Biden on Dec. 31, 2021, lasted 50 minutes, while the one with Barack Obama on March 12, 2012, lasted just 20 minutes.

The Putin-Trump phone call lasted nearly 2.5 hours.
