Putin orders halt to strikes on Ukraine’s energy facilities
Russian President Vladimir Putin has responded positively to U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal for warring parties in Ukraine to mutually stop attacks on energy facilities for 30 days, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Kremlin’s press service.
“During the conversation, Donald Trump proposed that the conflicting sides mutually abstain from attacks on energy infrastructure for 30 days. Vladimir Putin responded positively to this initiative and immediately issued a relevant order to Russian military forces,” the Kremlin said.
