Zakharova excludes resumption of OSCE Minsk Group’s activities
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Russia has repeatedly discussed the resolution of all humanitarian issues accumulated during the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
Zakharova also ruled out the resumption of the OSCE Minsk Group’s activities. She added that Armenia has recognized Nagorno-Karabakh as an integral part of Azerbaijan. Furthermore, she noted that the situation has fundamentally changed, and therefore the mandate of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs has lost its relevance.
According to Zakharova, it would be optimal for Armenia and Azerbaijan to issue a joint statement regarding the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group.
