Hamas political bureau member Ismail Barhoum killed in Israeli attack

Ismail Barhoum, a member of the political bureau of Hamas, has been killed in an Israeli attack in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, Al Arabiya reports.

As reported, Barhoum, who was in charge of Hamas’s financial assets in Gaza, was killed during a missile strike on the Nasser medical complex in Khan Younis. Hamas has not yet officially commented on the information.

Barhoum was included in the U.K. sanctions list in December 2023 and in the EU restrictions list in June 2024.
