White House positive about Saudi talks

Washington is positive about the talks in Saudi Arabia with representatives of Russia and Ukraine and plans to make a positive statement soon, Reuters reports, citing a source from the White House.

According to the source, “the talks, which are being led by the expert groups of the Trump administration in Riyadh, are progressing very well.”

“We expect that a positive statement will be made soon,” the source added.

To remind, on Monday, a meeting between representatives of Russia and the U.S. ended in Riyadh after over 12 hours of discussions, during which issues related to the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict were discussed.
