Iran threatens to expel IAEA inspectors
Iran will cease its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and expel all agency inspectors from the country if the United States and Israel continue to threaten the country with military force, stated Ali Shamkhani, the political advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and a general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
“The ongoing external threats and attempts of military aggression against Iran could lead to the implementation of preventive measures, such as the expulsion of IAEA inspectors and the cessation of cooperation with the agency. Another measure could be the relocation of enriched (uranium) to safe and undisclosed locations within Iran,” Shamkhani wrote on X.
