Erdogan’s advisor again calls for amendments to Armenia’s Constitution
Armenia’s Constitution still contains territorial claims against Azerbaijan and Turkey, which obstructs the normalization of relations and the process of signing a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan, Turkish Presidential Advisor Çağrı Erhan said.
“The Azerbaijani army took control of the city of Khankendi during an anti-terror operation. Azerbaijan secured its sovereignty by clearing Nagorno-Karabakh of separatists. Armenia should no longer resist or claim territory it has no right to. Armenia must understand that the South Caucasus is an important region through which energy and trade routes must pass,” Erhan said.
