Tigran Abrahamyan: Armenian officials are putting the country at risk

Following the conclusion of negotiations on the so-called “Peace Agreement” between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the first opportunity for substantive discussion on the topic was the meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan on April 12, Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the With Honor faction, writes.

“However, the official statement issued following the meeting and the panel discussion in which they participated revealed that Azerbaijan has backed the Armenian authorities against the wall with its preconditions, proposing a condition that cannot be resolved in a short time, even if there is a great desire for that.

This pertains to the issue of amending the Constitution of Armenia, which is technically and procedurally impossible to implement in a short timeframe.

Are they aware of these nuances in Azerbaijan? Undoubtedly, yes. Azerbaijan is prolonging the process to extract additional promises and concessions, while Armenian officials are putting the country at risk of new blows,” he wrote.
