Georgian, Armenian, and Azerbaijani deputy foreign ministers’ meeting begins in Tbilisi

A meeting of the deputy foreign ministers of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan has started in Tbilisi, Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.

The Georgian side is represented by First Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia, Azerbaijan by Elnur Mammadov, and Armenia by Vahan Kostanyan.

The meeting will discuss opportunities for trilateral cooperation.

“The countries of the region must develop common approaches on a wide range of issues. These are the areas that will be central to today’s meeting,” the press service of Georgia’s Foreign Ministry quoted Darsalia as saying.
