
Russia’s Defense Ministry: The Russian army has strictly adhered to the Easter ceasefire
The Russian army has strictly adhered to the Easter ceasefire, starting from 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Russia’s Ministry of Defense says.
“By order of the Supreme Commander of the Russian Armed Forces, all military units in the special military operation zone have strictly observed the ceasefire regime from 6:00 p.m. on April 19, remaining in previously occupied positions,” the ministry said.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the Easter ceasefire, which is set to last from 6:00 p.m. on Saturday until midnight on Sunday into Monday.
