Under pressure from Armenian authorities, Abraham Gasparyan’s speech in Tehran banned

At the request of the Armenian Embassy, Founding Director of Genesis Armenia Think Tank and Foundation, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Abraham Gasparyan has been prohibited from delivering a speech and holding meetings in Tehran.

Gasparyan was in Tehran to participate in an event organized by the Armenian National Congress of Iran. He was invited as a speaker for the event scheduled this evening at the Armenian Ararat sports complex in Tehran. There were also plans for meetings with representatives of the Armenian community.

“Today is April 24, and it is unacceptable to desecrate the significance of this day due to anti-nationalist authorities. I will return and answer all questions,” Gasparyan told ABC media.
