Serzh Sargsyan: Slander doesn’t surprise or anger me
That the state has pushed the issue of the Genocide to the background is a fact, and to speculate on what they think, or why they do so, is a thankless task, Third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said during his visit to Tsitsernakaberd.
“You know, I have served the Republic of Armenia for a very long time—more than 25 years—and perhaps that is why I am one of the most slandered officials of this country. Therefore, slander neither surprises me nor angers me,” Sargsyan said.
According to him, they have a plan to remove the current authorities, which will be seen by 2026, but he currently considers it pointless to disclose the plan.
