Medvedev: In the event of a provocation on Victory Day, no one can guarantee that the dawn will break in Kyiv on May 10
Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said in a Telegram post that if Ukraine makes provocations on the day of victory in the Great Patriotic War, no one can guarantee that the dawn will break in Kyiv on May 10. Medvedev added that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy understands this well.
“Zelenskyy understands that in the event of a real provocation on Victory Day, no one can guarantee that the dawn will come up in Kyiv on May 10,” Medvedev wrote.
Zelenskyy rejected Russia’s proposal for a ceasefire during the 80th anniversary of Victory, stating that Kyiv cannot guarantee the safety of guests arriving in Moscow for the May 9 parade.
