
US offers to help ease India-Pakistan tensions
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio had a phone conversation with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Munir, offering Washington’s assistance in resolving the ongoing conflict with India, the U.S. Department of State said in a statement.
“He reiterated his call for both sides to seek ways to reduce tensions and offered U.S. support to facilitate the launch of constructive dialogue aimed at preventing further conflict,” reads the statement.
