Nazi materials discovered in Argentina’s Supreme Court basement (Photo report)
Recently, 83 boxes containing Nazi materials seized during World War II were found in the basement of Argentina’s Supreme Court.
It was revealed that in 1941, the boxes were sent from the German Embassy in Japan to Argentina. Although German diplomats at the time claimed they contained personal belongings, the boxes, which were opened accidentally, contained Nazi postcards, photographs, propaganda materials, and notebooks.
The boxes were discovered during preparatory work for the court’s museum. They are now stored under special preservation conditions, and experts from the Holocaust Museum will be conducting an investigation.
The initiative aims to uncover potential traces of Nazi activities and funding networks.
