India should be vigilant regarding the fragile Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, says Azerbaijan deputy foreign minister

During an extended session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) Committee on International Relations and Inter-Parliamentary Relations, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev commented on the tensions between India and Pakistan and Baku’s support for Islamabad. He called on India to “be cautious regarding Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.”

“Azerbaijan’s stance on the India-Pakistan issue is based on international law. India and other third parties should be vigilant regarding the fragile Armenia-Azerbaijan relations. This is a delicate period for these relations,” he said.

“We expect all states, including India, not to take any specific actions that could harm this process,” Rafiyev stated.
