Palestinian refugees’s number exceeds 7 million, says Mahmoud Abbas

The number of Palestinian refugees, both within the country and abroad, has exceeded 7 million, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas stated.

“What the Israeli occupation forces have been doing for the past 19 months in full view of the world constitutes crimes of genocide, destruction, and the use of starvation, aimed at expelling our people from the Gaza Strip,” Abbas was quoted as saying by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

According to the president, the number of Palestinian refugees in Palestine, neighboring countries, and around the world exceeds 7 million.
