Israel expanding military operation in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are building up in preparation to establish operational control over the Gaza Strip, the country’s defense ministry said in a statement.

The buildup is aimed at expanding the ongoing military operation in Gaza. Israel’s goal remains unchanged: the release of hostages held by Hamas and the dismantling of the militant organization.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the war will not end until Israel achieves victory.
