Conclusion of peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan will pave the way for peace and stability in the South Caucasus, says CSTO secretary general

CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov stated during the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council session that there are some positive developments in the Caucasus region.

“These are statements from the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the completion of negotiations and the coordination of the text of an interstate document on peace between the two countries. We hope for the signing of the document as soon as possible and expect that its implementation will pave the way for peace and stability in the South Caucasus,” Tasmagambetov noted.
