Indian army announces ceasefire with Pakistan for indefinite period

India’s ground forces have announced that the ceasefire regime with Pakistan is in effect without any fixed expiration date, Hindustan Times reports, citing military sources.

“As long as both sides refrain from hostile actions, the ceasefire agreement will remain in force indefinitely,” reads the statement.
