Ukraine unhappy with talks in Istanbul

Ukraine is dissatisfied with the negotiations held in Istanbul between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations, Mykhailo Podolyak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said in an interview with Rzeczpospolita.

“We are not satisfied with the negotiations that took place in Istanbul,” Podolyak noted.

According to him, real peace talks on Ukraine can only be possible after a ceasefire.

To remind, on May 16, the first direct talks between representatives of Russia and Ukraine since 2022 took place in Istanbul.

The Russian side said after the negotiations that they were satisfied with the results.
