Russia has a broad agenda with Armenia, not only for discussion but for concrete, pragmatic work, Zakharova
During a press briefing, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented on the posters containing insults to Vladimir Putin in Armenia. She stated that there are 2,000 people working at the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan.
“Perhaps some of them still haven’t realized that they should be working on improving Russia-U.S. relations, rather than worsening Russia-Armenia relations,” Zakharova noted. She added that “perhaps someone in Armenia has not yet run out of the money that was transferred by UNICEF, which was engaged in such programs.”
“We have a broad agenda with Armenia in all directions, not only for discussion but also for concrete, pragmatic work. We also know that many people dislike this from the perspective of populism. So, we are focusing on a positive agenda. And all this is paid for, promoted, and developed in many parts of the world,” Zakharova concluded.
