Stable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan to open numerous opportunities for Turkic world, says Erdoğan

We are closely monitoring the events happening in the South Caucasus, which has strategic importance for the Turkic world, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated during an informal meeting of the leaders of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.

“It is encouraging that Azerbaijan has agreed with Armenia on the draft peace agreement. If stable peace is established between the two countries, this situation will open many opportunities for the Turkic world. I am sure that victorious President Ilham Aliyev will go down in history as a leader who brings peace to the region,” Erdoğan said.
