Russia and Ukraine conduct prisoner exchange

Today, another 303 Russian servicemen have been returned from Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry says.

In turn, 303 Ukrainian POWs have been handed over to Kyiv.

Currently, the Russian soldiers are in Belarus, where they are receiving necessary psychological and medical assistance.

According to the Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached in Istanbul on May 16, the exchange took place from May 23 to 25 under the “1000 for 1000 people” framework.
