Peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia is on the horizon, says Erdoğan

Turkey is closely monitoring the process of signing a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia and is actively contributing to this process, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told reporters.

“We are pleased that peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia is on the horizon. We are closely following this process. We are also making the necessary contributions and are ready to do so in the future. Peace will be valuable for Azerbaijan, Armenia, and our country,” Erdoğan stated.

“We are also going through the process of normalizing relations with Armenia. When peace and reconciliation are established, we will see that our countries will benefit from it alone. We have no doubt about that,” the president noted.
