
US planning to remove Syria from list of State Sponsors of Terrorism
U.S. Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack has arrived in Syria, where he met with the country’s president, Ahmed al-Sharaa and foreign minister.
U.S. President Donald Trump intends to put an end to the Islamic State terrorist organization in Syria once and for all, Barrack told Al Arabiya.
During his visit to Damascus, the U.S. special envoy stated that President Donald Trump plans to soon remove Syria from the list of states that sponsor terrorism.
“Trump wants to end ISIS once and for all,” he stated.
According to the official, “the U.S. military has completed 99% of its mission against ISIS.”
