Firm decision on Akna Road in Artsakh

I should note that we have only one road: the Berdzor
corridor. Movement through this corridor, connecting us to Armenia, must be
restored. Artsakh NA President Davit Ishkhanyan said this at his press
conference.

“I publicly announce that there is a firm decision to keep
the Aghdam road closed and not to use it. There should be no atmosphere of
mistrust about this among people,” Ishkhanyan said.

He noted that Azerbaijan has had intentions regarding the
Akna road for a long time. Ishkhanyan added that Azerbaijan is trying to force
the office of the Red Cross out of Stepanakert by sending aid through the “Red
Crescent”.
