Russia’s military industry surpasses NATO, says Rutte
Russia has made significant advances in weapons production, with its output “astonishing” NATO, The Guardian writes, referring to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
He stated that in the context of the Ukrainian conflict, Russia produces as much essential military equipment in three months as NATO does in an entire year.
Rutte called on alliance members to increase defense spending and produce more weapons.
“If we do not take action now, if we do not do it now, everything will be fine in the next few years, but otherwise, in three, four, five years, we will truly be under threat,” Rutte warned.
