No decision yet on 6th round of talks with the US, says Iran’s Foreign Ministry

No decision has been made yet regarding the sixth round of negotiations with the United States, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said. He stated that Iran will announce the date and location of the sixth round of talks with the U.S. about its nuclear program at the right time.

Baghaei added that Iran will inform the U.S. about its initiative through Oman.

Earlier, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, stated that the conditions put forward by the United States during negotiations to resolve the crisis over Iran’s nuclear program contradict the fundamental principles of the Islamic Republic. “The main principle defending our interests is the ‘we can’ principle. Even in the latest nuclear negotiations mediated by Oman, all U.S. proposals completely contradict this principle,” he said.
