Iran ready to sign agreement renouncing nuclear weapon development, says Araghchi

Israel’s aggression against Iran would not have taken place without the approval and support of the United States, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during a meeting with foreign diplomats.

Araghchi noted that Iran has numerous pieces of evidence indicating that U.S. forces helped Israel carry out the attack on Iran.

Iran’s foreign minister stated that Iran does not wish to escalate the war, highlighting that Tehran will cease its strikes against Israel only if Israel stops its attacks on Iran.

According to TASS, Araghchi also said that Iran is ready to sign an agreement to abandon the development of nuclear weapons. However, Iran will not accept conditions that restrict its right to develop peaceful nuclear energy.
