Macron speaks on phone with Pezeshkian

French President Emmanuel Macron and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian had a phone call.

“Iran is obliged to prove that its intentions are peaceful. I am convinced that there is a way to stop the war. That is why we should accelerate our negotiations with Iran together with our European partners,” Macron stated.
