US defense secretary monitoring Iran’s missile launches toward US military sites
The United States is monitoring numerous missile launches by Iran targeting U.S. military facilities in Qatar and Iraq, CNN writes, citing its sources.
According to the White House, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine are in the Situation Room, coordinating operations in real-time.
Many sources familiar with the matter have told CNN that U.S. personnel at embassies in Qatar and Bahrain are in “duck and cover” mode, as Iran is launching missiles in the direction of Qatar and Iraq.
