Human rights defenders raise alarm over raids at homes of citizens with opposition views

Members of the Five Human Rights Defenders’ Initiative are individually present at the houses of citizens holding opposition views, where searches are being conducted, according to the initiative’s members.

“It is noteworthy that the search at the residence of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the Holy Struggle movement, involves masked special forces officers from the National Security Service of Armenia,” the initiative noted.
