Zelenskyy calls for suppression on Russia’s appetite
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged allies to “suppress Russia’s appetite” by imposing new sanctions against Moscow, RBC-Ukraine reports.
“To curb Russia’s appetite, sanctions should be applied to banks, the energy sector, and components of the defense industry. This refers to Europe, Asia, China, Taiwan, and other countries where companies still sell parts to Russia that are used in missile production,” Zelenskyy stated.
According to him, “the key to Ukraine’s victory” is not only financial support but also the strategic unity of the “democratic world,” represented by Europe and the United States, where Donald Trump is expected to play a special role.
