Many Armenians in Russia saddened by developments in Armenia, says Peskov

Many Armenians in Russia are saddened by the events taking place in Armenia,, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin.

“Armenia is a country very close to us. Let’s not forget that several million Armenians are Russian citizens,” Peskov stated. “Of course, they are watching the developments with sorrow, and many do not accept how events are unfolding,” Peskov noted.

He stated that what is happening in Armenia is an internal matter, and Russia does not intend to interfere.
