Israel agrees to temporary ceasefire conditions in Gaza, says Trump
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the Israeli side has agreed to the conditions necessary for a two-month ceasefire in Gaza during a meeting with representatives from Washington.
“Today, my representatives had a long and productive meeting with the Israelis regarding Gaza. Israel has agreed to the conditions necessary for a 60-day ceasefire, during which we will work with all parties to stop the war,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
According to the U.S. president, representatives from Qatar and Egypt, who have been working extensively to establish peace, will pass the final proposal to Hamas.
“I hope that for the prosperity of the Middle East, Hamas will accept this agreement, because it won’t get any better, only worse,” Trump added.
