Kyiv will do its best to add fuel to the fire and push Baku to emotional actions, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that during a phone call with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, he expressed Ukraine’s support in the situation where Russia is allegedly “threatening” Azerbaijan. Peskov noted that Russia will defend the interests of its citizens detained in Azerbaijan and will use all available means for this purpose. He also added that Russia does not threaten Azerbaijan.
