Trump is not sure he can stop Russia-Ukraine war

U.S. President Donald Trump said he was unsure if he’d be able to end Russia’s war against Ukraine.

“I don’t know. I can’t tell you whether or not that’s going to happen,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.

When asked if ending the war was a priority, the president said, “Yes. I’d like to see it happen.”

Throughout the 2024 election campaign, Trump promised to end the war between the two countries on the first day of taking office, but he later called that promise an exaggeration.
