Ukraine to be armed with NATO funding
Under an agreement between the United States, NATO, and Ukraine, NATO will pay Kyiv for weapons supplied by Washington, U.S. President Donald Trump announced.
“We supply weapons to NATO, and NATO pays 100% for those weapons. So, the weapons go to NATO, and then NATO supplies them to Ukraine and pays for those weapons,” Trump explained in an interview with NBC News.
He added that this agreement was signed at the NATO summit held in June.
Trump did not specify which supplies he was referring to.
