Patriots for Ukraine from US, money from EU

Donald Trump has announced that the United States will send Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine to assist them.

“We are sending them Patriots, which they desperately need,” Trump told reporters.

He did not specify when or in what quantity the deliveries are planned.

“I haven’t decided yet how many will be sent, but it will be a few because they truly need protection,” Trump said.

According to him, the supplies will be carried out with the EU’s funds.

“The European Union is paying for it. We are not paying anything, but we will send them,” the White House leader stated.
