Syria and Turkey open border under 24-hour regime

All border crossings between Syria and Turkey will be open 24 hours a day starting from July 14.

According to the Syrian Al Watan newspaper, this was announced by the General Directorate of Maritime and Land Ports of Syria.

“Starting from Monday, July 14, all border crossings between Turkey and Syria will operate 24 hours a day,” the ministry noted. The agency also noted that the decision was made to facilitate the return of Syrians to their homeland and to ease congestion at the border crossings during busy hours.
