
Israel strikes Hezbollah bases in Lebanon’s 5 regions
Israeli Air Force fighter jets have carried out massive strikes against suspected underground shelters and storage facilities of Hezbollah in five regions in eastern Lebanon, Al Jadeed TV channel reports.
The jets launched missiles at targets near the cities of Budaia, Britel, Taraia, Sarrin, and Shamistar. Witnesses reported that thick clouds of smoke are rising from the areas targeted by the airstrikes.
There have been no reports of casualties. According to the TV channel, Israeli fighter jets remain in Lebanese airspace and are flying at low altitude over the Beqaa Valley and the mountainous area along the Syrian border.
